Few more days

Hi everyone,

I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and with the new year just around the corner I hope you celebrate in a major way. With the holiday season I had been so busy I neglected to post and I wanted to check in and see how everyone's projects are going. I made some things for family members that I could not  post until now (Christmas Presents and I didn't want to give it away). I had made a family tradition (unbeknown to me), that they  all look forward to getting a homemade item from me at Christmas time and I guess this year I didn't disappoint. Yaaah!! They raved about the ornaments I made for them this year. I was under a huge time crunch (hence, the reason I haven't posted in a while) and finished a small set for them with promises that I would add to their collection to help "fill the tin". I love making things and having people enjoy them especially my family.

I chose some bright colorful threads to make them pop.

I have added a photo of the embroidery collection I purchased to create these ornaments. It is a Husqvarna collection called Christmas Lace and if you go to    www.myembroideries.com  and put "Christmas Lace 205300" in to the search designs you will be directed right to it. I purchases the download version, printed out the pdf files to create a booklet, copied all the files to a CD so that I don't have to tie up room on my hard drive and viola... I love these designs and the best part is you can create them in any colors you choose, oh but if you do purchase them make sure you choose the file format that you use for your embroidery machine. Have fun!!! I know I did.

On another note...

I have left my digital freebie download for over a month (page down to the blog hop giveaway) and decided that I will deactivate the link on January 2 at 01:00 Eastern time and maybe upload a new freebie. Check back to get your freebie  but until then...
                       Happy New Year!!!!!!

Exponential Excitement!!!!!

How's that for a title, Exponential Excitement. There is no other way to describe how I am feeling about the up coming Blog Hop. November is turning out to be an exciting month.

I have been trying to create more but there is so little time when other life related things require your attention. Many of you already know this and I am preaching to the choir here.
So, I will move on. I am just going to enjoy the ride while I am on it.

This is the subject of my excitement.

We, the graduates from The Art of Digital Design class are hosting a Blog Hop for You. All of this is celebration of our graduating and receiving our certificates of accomplishments.
We have all worked hard to bring you this awesome Christmas Treasures Collaboration Kit. Please, enjoy it and share your layouts on the general gallery at Jessicasprague.com. After all, Jessicasprague.com is the reason we are the designers that we are. Come have some fun following along and downloading to your hearts desire starting November 11th. Tell all your scrapbooking, card making friends.

And here is a reason to be proud:

Bright and Sunny

As you may have noticed I have definitely done a little bit of sprucing up on my blog. It is bright and sunny, just the way I feel today. This is how I feel every time I create something beautiful.  I have finished another project that I will be taking with me to the American Sewing Expo in Novi, Michigan at the end of this month. I am so excited and am taking 2 friends along with me  to share this experience. They are the ladies over there at Thimbled Dog.  There is nothing more fun than to watch other designers play on their playground.
American Sewing Expo is an annual event that inspires and motivates. I can't wait for all the eye candy. I can't wait for the fashion shows, the numerous booths filled with tools, gadgets and goodies and the new ideas I will walk away with. I am taking about eight classes and seminars and I know that I will walk away from there with my head spinning. I always take a notebook with me so that I can jot down my ideas and sketch anything that comes to mind. Not only ideas about sewing projects but also ideas for designing digital scrap kits. LOVE IT!!!
I finished this project and started another and I couldn't wait to show you.
I love, love, love butterflies.

Have a blessed day.

Come back soon.

Under Construction

Hi,
My name is Kathy Morse and I am a scrapaholic, a sewaholic, a quiltaholic, you name the craft and I have probably tried it at least once. These three hobbies seem to be the ones that stuck. I enjoy my craft so much that I am venturing into a new arena. Advertising on the Computer to the world. (Wow that sounds serious)  I know it isn't new to others but it is very new to me. Be patient with me and I will show you what I have to offer. I will have this blog up and running in no time. In the meantime I am going to post some of my work.  If you are interested in any of my digital scrap kits give me a holla I will let you know where they can be purchased. For right now they are only available to view.

By the way, I have to say that you should check out JessicaSprague.com  I learned everything I know about Photoshop from her.  Check out her Photoshop classes, digital scrapbook kits, and much much more. She is an awesome teacher and she will not disappoint.

I have many many favorite websites that I will share with you as soon as I get this thing going. But right now I have to run.
So long for now, have a wonderful and blessed day.
Thanks for stopping by.
Kathy
